February 22, 2010, LLC restarted its activities. New students came to join us and are now attending classes regularly. Some things here have changed. We changed classrooms, we grew older. However, others have remained the same. The interest and enthusiasm of our students to learn are the same. And for this, we thank God.
At the end of last year, missionary Ellie Driesenga came to visit us and to give us a hand as well. During the time of her stay, she helped us make LLC class break time a lot more interesting and fun. She told us about her decision to serve the Lord here in Brazil. She taught us games like Red Rover and Cat and Mouse. Also, at the closing of English 1 class last December, Ellie gave us the chance to listen to some good music from her violin.
For two semesters now, EFL teacher Cristiano Viana has blessed us with his enthusiasm and good humor. No need to talk about his commitment to this ministry.
Pilgrims’s Progress
Recently, LLC students saw Pilgrim’s progress. This movie, which is about the odyssey every Christian goes through, grabbed the watchers’ attention from beginning to end. What a fantastic movie!
